The Missouri Tigers and the Florida Gators face off on Saturday at Faurot Field in a SEC college football matchup.

The Missouri Tigers are 4-1 this season and are 1-1 in the SEC after beating South Carolina last week. The Missouri offense is averaging 21.4 points and 322.4 yards per game and they have turned the ball over six times. Maty Mauk has been the starter at QB for the Tigers but last week Drew Lock started and he was outstanding completing 75 percent of his passes in the win. Ish Witter leads Mizzou in rushing but Russell Hansbrough is back in the fold while Nate Brown is the top receiver with 17 catches and four touchdowns and J’Mon Moore has 15 catches. The Missouri defense is allowing 12 points and 263.6 yards per game with two fumble recoveries, seven interceptions, and 13 sacks. Kentrell Brothers is Missour’s top tackles with 59, Michael Scherer has 33 and Aarion Penton has 24 tackles. Missouri hasn’t really established an identity this year but this would be a monster win.

Missouri vs. Florida - 10/10/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Florida Gators are 5-0 this season and 3-0 in the SEC and they are coming off of an impressive thumping of Ole Miss last week. The UF offense is averaging 34.4 points and 394.2 yards per game and they have turned the ball over five times. Will Grier as finally won the QB battle for the Gators and he has completed 67.2 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions while running for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Kelvin Taylor is Florida’s op rusher with 339 yards and five touchdowns and Demarcus Robinson leads the receivers with 28 catches and two touchdowns. The Florida defense is allowing 16.6 points and 304.2 yards with five interceptions, six fumble recoveries, and 18 sacks. Antonio Morrison leads the Florida defense with 40 tackles, Jarrad Davis has 38 tackles, and Marcus Maye has 31 tackles. Florida looks like a different team than they were last season.

Missouri is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven SEC games, 14-6 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 0-4 against the spread following a win. Florida is 5-0 against the spread in their last five road games, 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games, and 4-1 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread.

I like the way Florida has been playing but a home dog in a conference game at night is too much for me to pass on here.
