The UNLV Rebels travel to Bulldog Stadium to take the field with the Fresno State Bulldogs.
The UNLV Rebels have not had much success in a very long time but they have shown improvement with their new coaching staff. The Rebels dropped a 33-27, overtime decision to visiting San Jose State in week six to fall to 2-4. The Spartans led in yardage 444-403 with both teams committing a pair of turnovers. Quarterback Kurt Palendech was the Rebels offense with 217 passing yards on 15-30 with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions with Kendal Keys catching five balls for 84 yards. Palendech also paced the Rebels rushing attack with 47 yards but it took 18 carries. The quarterback spot is a problem area for this team so be aware who is under center.

The Fresno State Bulldogs have been having issues on both sides of the line of scrimmage which is the reason the team is riding a five game slide following a 56-14 loss to visiting Utah State. The Aggies led 29-7 at the half on the way to 482 yards while the Bulldogs were limited to 194 yards and three turnovers. Quarterback Kilton Anderson struggled to give Fresno State anything through the air with a 10-20 effort producing 112 yards and a touchdown along with a trio of costly interceptions. Da’Mari Scott and Jamire Jordan were the receivers of choice with seven receptions for 100 yards with Jordan scoring. Marteze Waller led Fresno on the ground with 70 yards on 26 carries and a touchdown but the offense needed more in the air.
The over is 4-0 in Rebels last 4 road games vs. a team with a losing home record and the Rebels are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 Friday games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss. The Bulldogs are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games on fieldturf and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall while going 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game. Both teams really have quarterback issues and if Decker plays for UNLV I’ll take them but I’d look elsewhere to wager in all honesty…
