The Buffalo Bulls will travel to Kelly/Shorts Stadium to take on the Central Michigan Chippewas this Saturday afternoon in College Football action.

The Buffalo Bulls scored to late TD’s to make it a game but dropped to 2-3 (0-1 MAC East) on the season after being defeated 28-22 by the Bowling Green Falcons on October, 3rd. Buffalo was able to gain 500 yards in total offense but had trouble containing the high-power Falcons offensive as they gained 536 yards and committed no turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Bulls was QB Joe Licata who completed 35 of 59 passes for 348 yards, a TD, and an Int. On the season, Buffalo is averaging 28.2 ppg on 403.6 yards (250.2 passing, 153.4 rushing). Buffalo has had a decent rushing attack led by Anthone Taylor (97 carries, 474 yards, 2 TD) and Jordan Johnson (58 carries, 282 yards, 3 TD). Central Michigan vs. Buffalo - 10/17/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Central Michigan Chippewas scored three TD’s in the 4th quarter but couldn’t complete the comeback and fell to 2-4 (1-1 MAC-West) on the season after being defeated 41-39 to the Western Michigan Broncos this past Saturday. Central Michigan outgained Western Michigan by a 482-477 margin but committed two turnovers in the loss. Leading the way for the Chippewas was QB Cooper Rush who completed 23 of 32 passes for 321 yards, 4 TD, and Int. Central Michigan is averaging 24.8 ppg on 393.7 yards per game (301.8 passing, 91.8 rushing). QB Copper Rush leads the Broncos offense as he has completed 67.4% of his passes for 1771 yards, 12 TD and 5 Int. The Broncos WR’s are led by Jesse Kroll (32 rec, 389 yards, 2 TD) and Ben McCord (22 rec, 373 yards, 4 TD). The rushing attack is led by Jahray Hayes (59 carries, 238 yards, 2 TD) and Devon Spalding (52 carries, 182 yards, 1 TD). Central Michigan is currently allowing opponents to average 25.7 ppg on 340.5 yards per game (175.2 passing, 165.3 rushing). The Chippewas currently have a minus-1 turnover margin and are led by DB Kavon Frazier (59 tackles).

The Bulls are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record and 12-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. The Chippewas are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. loss and 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

The Bulls have lost their last two games but both have been competitive as they’ve lost by just a combined 9 points. The Chippewas have a solid QB in Copper Rush and although they are just 2-4, their losses have come against Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Syracuse and Western Michigan. Buffalo has been strong against the pass this season which is Central Michigan’s strength and as this line is over a TD, I’m going go with the Bulls keeping this game close and covering with the points.
