The Line: LSU Tigers -6.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The LSU Tigers and the Florida Gators face off on Saturday in Baton Rouge in a battle of unbeaten SEC college football teams.

The LSU Tigers are off to a 5-0 start to the 2015 CFB season including 3-0 in the SEC. The LSU offense is averaging 37.8 points and 468.4 yards turning the ball over just one time all season. LSU QB Brandon Harris has completed57.3 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and he has rushed for three touchdowns. Leonard Fournette continues his impressive season rushing for 1,022 yards and 12 touchdowns and Travin Dural and Malachi Dupre each have 14 catches. The LSU defense is allowing 22 pints and 291.4 yards per game with six interceptions, one fumble recovery, and 12 sacks. Kendell Beckwith is LSU’s leading tackler with 33, Deion Jones has 31, and Rickey Jefferson has 25. LSU threw the ball more effectively last week than they have all season and they may need to do that here to get a win.

LSU vs. Florida - 10/17/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Florida Gators are one of the biggest turnaround stories of the season and they are off to a 6-0 start. The Florida offense is averaging 32.2 points and 384.7 yards and they have turned the ball over five times. Gator QB Will Grier has seen the bulk of the action but he has been suspended for a year and Treon Harris, last year’s starter, has taken over the helm. Kelvin Taylor leads the UF rushing attack with 438 yards and seven touchdowns and Demarcus Robinson is the leading receiver with 34 catches. The Florida defense is allowing 14.3 points and 296.3 yards per game with seven interceptions, six fumble recoveries, and 21 sacks. Antonio Morrison leads the Gators with 46 tackles, Jarrad Davis has 41 tackles, and Vernon Hargreaves has three interceptions. Harris has plenty of experience at QB but how he blends into this years UF team remains to be seen.

LSU is 2-5 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread, 1-4 against the spread at home against a team with a winning road record, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five October games. Florida is 4-0 against the spread following a win, 6-0 against the spread in their last six road games, and 5-1 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread.

This game is going to be tight and even with Harris at QB I give the Gators a solid chance to win this one outright so I like them a lot with the points.
