The Miami Hurricanes will try to end their 2 game losing streak when they host Virginia Tech this weekend.
The Miami Hurricanes are coming off a tough loss to Florida State in which they almost upset the Seminoles but fell short 29-24. Miami had seem to have taken over the game scoring 14 unanswered points in the second half but were unable to hold off FSU in the end. Quarterback Brad Kaaya took off against the Seminoles completing 29 of his 49 pass attempts for 405 yards and 3 touchdowns. Running back Joseph Yearby who was having a great year only managed to rush for 33 yards on 15 carries. Stacey Coley led the Hurricanes in receiving catching 7 passes for 19 yards and 1 touchdown. Rashawn Scott also added 6 recpetions for 108 yards and a touchdown. Miami will try to shake off this loss and get ready to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Virginia Tech got back on track defeating North Carolina State 28-13 at home. Virginia Tech will now head to South Florida to take on the Struggling Miami Hurricanes. Quarterback Brenden Motley completed 14 of his 28 passes for 158 yards and 3 touchdowns. Running back Travon McMillian carried the ball 11 times for 96 yards and a touchdown. Wide Receiver Cam Phillips led the Hokies with 5 catches for 60 yards but Isaiah Ford had the biggest day catching 4 passes for 39 yards and 3 touchdowns. Virginia Tech will try to win back to back ACC games when they travel to Miami this weekend.
