Texas State at Ga Southern - 10/29/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Georgia State Panthers look to remain unbeaten at home by becoming bowl eligible with a win. Nick Arbuckle is completing 66.2 percent of his passes for 1,961 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. Arbuckle has four touchdown passes in his last three games. Penny Hart and Robert Davis have combined for 948 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Donovan Harden has 10 receptions. The Georgia State Panthers are averaging 86.5 yards per contest, and Kyler Neal leads the way with 248 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Georgia State is allowing 35.5 points and 474.7 yards per game. Joseph Peterson leads the Panthers with 64 tackles, Bobby Baker has two interceptions and Alonzo McGee has two sacks.

The Bobcats are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 conference games and 5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Eagles are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games and 16-7 ATS in their last 23 games overall.

These are two more teams that struggle on the defensive side of the ball. Texas State has allowed 40-plus points in four of its six games and Georgia Southern has allowed 31 points in two of its last three games. I like the over in this matchup.
