The Central Florida Knights travel to Nippert Stadium to battle the Cincinnati Bearcats.
The Central Florida Knights are in an obvious rebuilding season as their struggles on both sides of the line of scrimmage have taken a toll. Both trends continued in a 59-10 loss to visiting Houston as the Cougars began scoring in the second quarter and just pulled away on the way to 600 yards which was overkill with UCF managing 280 yards and turning the ball four times. The rushing attack needed to come up big to milk clock but Dontravious Wilson and his 19 carry, 72 yard performance wasn’t enough. Quarterback Justin Holman couldn’t get the passing attack going with 183 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions with Tre’Quan Smith catching seven passes for 89 yards.

The Cincinnati Bearcats are at the point in the season where another loss seriously jeopardizes their postseason hopes. The Bearcats stayed on track for a Bowl with a 37-13 rout of visiting Connecticut in week eight. Cinci had to much offense with 600 yards so their 266 yards and two giveaways wasn’t going to be enough. The balanced Bearcats received 327 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns from Gunner Kiel with favorite target Shaq Washington snagging eight balls for 78 yards. Hosey Williams was unstoppable with 140 yards and a TD on 13 carries while Mike Boone totaled 117 yards on another 13 touches.
The over is 6-0 in Knights last 6 vs. a team with a winning record and is 4-0-1 in Knights last 5 games following a SU loss of more than 20 points while going 4-0 in Knights last 4 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. The under is 5-0 in Bearcats last 5 games in October and is 6-0 in Bearcats last 6 vs. a team with a losing record while the Bearcats are 4-0 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. I’m just going with potential here and that would be the soring potential of Cincinnati…
