The Air Force Falcons take their option to Aloha Stadium to oppose the Hawaii Warriors.
After an overall poor effort in all phases of a loss to Colorado State the Air Force Falcons put together a complete effort in a 42-27 rout of visiting Fresno State. A 28-0 second half run ended a close contest behind 586 yards with Fresno held to 311 yards. Karson Roberts gave AFA a decent passing attack with 108 yards on 5-10 while running for 92 yards and four touchdown while the tandem of Bryan Driskell and Jacobi Owens combined for 281 yards as the run had one of it’s better games. Lost in the shuffle was WR Jalen Robinette who led Air Force with 79 yards on three receptions.

The slumping Hawaii Warriors haven’t been able to buy a win lately with their offense generally unable to generate consistent scoring. That trend continued in a 30-20 defeat at Nevada for their 5th consecutive loss. The Wolf Pack scored 17 straight points to end the game and held a 372-325 edge in yardage with Hawaii giving the ball away three times. The beleaguered Hawaii passing attack was on target with quarterback Max Wittek connecting on 27-40 for 291 yards and a pair of touchdowns and three costly interceptions. That was still the only way the Warriors moved the chains with the rushing attack going nowhere. Devan Stubblefield paced the Hawaii receivers with 91 yards and eight receptions with a pair of TD’s.
The Falcons are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games in October while going 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game. The Rainbow Warriors are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf while the under is 4-0 in Rainbow Warriors last 4 games on fieldturf. I think the Falcons will be able to run effectively so I’ll back them…
