Iowa State vs. Texas - 10/31/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Iowa State Cyclones could use a big conference victory after losing five of their last six games. Sam Richardson is completing 60.5 percent of his passes for 1,420 yards, eight touchdowns and eight interceptions. Richardson has thrown five picks in his last three games. Allen Lazard and Quenton Bundrage have combined for 739 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while D'Vario Montgomery has 16 receptions. The Iowa State Cyclones ground game is averaging 178.8 yards per contest, and Mike Warren leads the way with 797 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, ISU is allowing 33.9 points and 465.1 yards per game. Brian Peavy leads the Cyclones with 45 tackles, Dale Pierson has 6.5 sacks and Darian Cotton has two forced fumbles. Allen Lazard, Gabe Luna and Kamari Cotton-Moya are questionable.

The Longhorns are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games on grass and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win. The Cyclones are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 conference games and 5-2 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. The road team is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings.

Is Texas really starting to turn the corner? The Longhorns pulled off one of the biggest upsets over Oklahoma and absolutely destroyed a well coached Kansas State team last week. Iowa State has allowed 45 or more points in three straight weeks and the Longhorns have beaten the Cyclones in four straight meetings.

I'll lay the touchdown here.
