The Texas A&M Aggies and the South Carolina Gamecocks face off on Saturday at Kyle Field in a SEC college football matchup.
The Texas A&M Aggies are licking their wounds as they are coming off of back to back conference losses. The Texas A&M offense is averaging 31.7 points and 415.7 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 13 times. Aggies QB Kyle Allen has completed 56.8 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions and he has rushed for two touchdowns. Tra Carson leads Texas A&M in rushing with 524 yards and four touchdowns and Christian Kirk is the leading receiver with 41 catches and four touchdowns. Texas A&M hasn’t been physical enough to compete with Alabama and Ole Miss taking lopsided losses.
USA TODAY Sports
The South Carolina Gamecocks are 3-4 this season and are well rested coming off of a bye week. The South Carolina offense is averaging 20.4 points and 353.4 yards per game and they have turned the ball over nine times. Gamecocks QB Perry Orth has completed 52.4 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and four interceptions. Brandon Wilds is South Carolina’s top running back but he has been dinged up all season and is averaging 5.1 yards per carry and Pharoh Cooper has 40 receptions and four touchdowns. The USC defense is allowing 26.3 points and 414.3 yards per game with nine interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and 13 sacks. Skai Moore leads the Gamecocks with 69 tackles and four interceptions, Isaiah Johnson has 43 tackles, and T.J. Gurley and Jordan Diggs each have 32 tackles. South Carolina is still looking for answers and may not find them this season.
Texas A&M is 8-2 against the spread against a team with a losing record, 4-9 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, and 1-7 against the spread following a loss. South Carolina is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven road games, 2-5 against the spread following a win, and 0-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
The total is set at 56 and I like for this one to go over that though it isn't one of my stronger plays. My stronger play is on the winning team against the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area.
