Bulldog Stadium and the Fresno State Bulldogs host the Bowl hopeful Nevada Wolf Pack.
The Nevada Wolf Pack have reached put up or shut up time with little room for error in the closing weeks of the regular season. The Wolf Pack evened their record at 4-4 with a 30-20 victory versus visiting Hawaii where a 17-0 4th quarter carried the team. Nevada held a 372-325 yardage edge but took advantage of a fumble recovery and three interceptions. Wolf Pack quarterback Tyler Stewart had an uneven passing game with 128 yards and a touchdown and interception on 12-23. Jarred Gipson paced the Nevada receiving corps with five catches for 57 yards and a touchdown while James Butler was the workhorse on the ground with a 28 carry, 134 yard, two touchdown effort.

The Fresno State Bulldogs are just 2-6 so they have to sweep their remaining schedule to become Bowl eligible which is a tall order. The Bulldogs have not had enough firepower on either side of the ball this season which we saw in a 42-14 loss at Air Force. The Falcons ran for 458 yards and totals nearly 600 and the Bulldogs couldn’t hang in there with 311 yards and 17 minutes of possession. Marteze Waller led Fresno State on the ground with 80 yards and a TD on ten carries while catching two balls for a team high 40 yards. Quarterback Kilton Anderson struggled to move the Bulldogs through the air with 177 yards and an interception on 14-39.
The under is 8-1 in Wolf Pack last 9 vs. a team with a losing record and the Wolf Pack are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a losing home record while the under is 5-1 in Wolf Pack last 6 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. The over is 4-0 in Bulldogs last 4 games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game and is 5-0 in Bulldogs last 5 games on fieldturf while the Bulldogs are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game. The road team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings and the Wolf Pack are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings while the underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings. I think having a shot at a Bowl will be a motivator for Nevada here…
