The Bowling Green Falcons have been on a roll which continued in a 62-24 rout of Ohio for win number six in a row. BGSU did everything well with quarterback Matt Johnson throwing for 365 yards and four touchdowns on 26-35 with Gehrig Dieter leading all receivers with nine catches for 136 yards and two scores while Roger Lewis caught six passes for 102 yards and another touchdown. Travis Greene paced the Falcons rushing attack with 106 yards on 13 touches and three trip to the end zone while Fred Coppet added 73 yards on 12 carries.

The Western Michigan Broncos sit atop the MAC West with a 5-0 record following a 54-7 rout of visiting Ball State. The Broncos are well known for their scoring ability and that trend continued with 711 yards but their defense was ferocious with a mere 152 yards given up. WMU had zero problem doing whatever they pleased with quarterback Zach Terrell throwing for 324 yards with three touchdowns on 16-22 while Corey Davis led the receiving corps with seven receptions for 163 yards and all three scores. Jamauri Bogan was dominant in the Broncos rushing attack with 171 yards on 18 totes with a pair of TD’s while LeVante Bellamy added another 69 yards and a TD.
