The Charlotte 49ers are 2-8 this season as they wind down their first season in FCS. The Charlotte offense is averaging 19.3 points and 352.8 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 32 times. Last week for the 49ers it was Matt Johnson and Brooks Barden both seeing time at QB though neither have been overly effective. The Charlotte defense is allowing 35 points and 405.1 yards per game with nine interceptions, 11 fumble recoveries, and 19 sacks. Kentucky is 1-6 against the spread in their last seven home games, 0-4 against the spread following a loss, and 0-5 against the spread against a team with a losing record. Charlotte is 0-2-2 against the spread following a loss.
While Charlotte has been bad I can’t lay this kind of number with Kentucky so I will take the points.
