USA TODAY Sports

The Stanford Cardinal look to win double-digit games for the fifth time in six seasons. Kevin Hogan is completing 67.2 percent of his passes for 2,231 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Hogan has five passing touchdowns in his last three games. Michael Rector and Christian McCaffrey have combined for 839 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Austin Hooper has 26 receptions. The Stanford Cardinal ground game is averaging 228.2 yards per contest, and McCaffrey leads the way with 1,546 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, Stanford is allowing 22 points and 361.7 yards per game. Blake Martinez leads the Cardinal with 108 tackles, Quenton Meeks has two interceptions and Mike Tyler has 4.5 sacks. Ronnie Harris is questionable.

The Fighting Irish are 6-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games in November. The Cardinal are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in November and 38-17 ATS in their last 55 home games. The Fighting Irish are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings in Stanford.

I've been chanting that Notre Dame is overratted, and this is the chance for the Cardinal to prove it. Stanford's physical style of play should give the Irish problems, and not too many teams have an answer for McCaffrey. I like Stanford here.
