The Rutgers Scarlet Knights hope for their third home victory to end their season on a high note. Chris Laviano is completing 60.6 percent of his passes for 1,903 yards, 12 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Laviano has zero touchdown passes in his last five games. Leonte Carroo and Andre Patton have combined for 1,009 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while Carlton Agudosi has 17 receptions. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights ground game is averaging 168.4 yards per contest, and Robert Martin leads the way with 721 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Rutgers is allowing 33.9 points and 444.4 yards per game. Steve Longa leads the Scarlet Knights with 111 tackles, Anthony Cioffi has four interceptions and Quanzell Lambert has 2.5 sacks. Anthony Cioffi, Austin Rosa and Davon Jacobs are questionable.
The Terrapins are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf. The Scarlet Knights are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 conference games and 4-10 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
Both of those teams are probably happy the season is finished, especially Rutgers who has probably been the most injured team in the country all season. However, this is senior day for the Scarlet Knights, so you should get your best effort from the home team. In a battle between two teams that won't reach a bowl game, I'm siding with Rutgers at home for the outright victory.
