The Air Force Falcons finished the season at 8-5 losing in the Mountain West Championship by three points to San Diego State. The Air Force offense is averaging 33.6 points and 452.7 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 20 times. Falcons QB Karson Roberts has completed 52.2 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Jacobi Owens leads Air Force in rushing with 1,013 yards and six touchdowns and Garrett Brown leads in receptions with 26. The Air Force defense is allowing 23.2 points and 337.1 yards per game with 11 interceptions, six fumble recoveries, and 36 sacks. West Steelhammer leads the Falcons defense with 80 tackles and five interceptions, Roland Ladipo has 74 tackles, Alex Hansen has 64 tackles and 7.5 sacks. Air Force had won six of seven games before losing their final two.
Cal is 7-16 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven bowl games, and 0-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record. Air Force is 4-1 against the spread in their last five bowl games, 6-1 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games, and 6-14 against the spread following a loss.
The total is set at a whopping 67 points but I can still see it going over that number though I wouldn’t consider it one of my stronger plays of bowl season.
