The Memphis Tigers hope to win double-digit games for just the second time in school history. Paxton Lynch is completing 68.8 percent of his passes for 3,670 yards, 28 touchdowns and three interceptions. Lynch has nine touchdown passes in his last three games. Mose Frazier and Anthony Miller have combined for 1,434 receiving yards and nine touchdowns while Phil Mayhue has 47 receptions. The Memphis Tigers ground game is averaging 186.1 yards per contest, and Doroland Dorceus leads the way with 613 yards and eight touchdowns. Defensively, Memphis is allowing 27 points and 407.1 yards per game. Leonard Pegues leads the Tigers with 64 tackles, Reggis Ball has three interceptions and Christian Johnson has four sacks.
Auburn's defense gives up a lot of yards and the team overall has been a hit or miss all season long. Memphis is a good and consistent football team that's led by oneof the better quarterbacks in the country. Lynch should have little problem lighting up this questionable Auburn defense. I know the game is in Auburn's backyard and should be a home game pretty much, but this is a Tigers team that lost four true home games this season.
I like Memphis to win this game outright simply due to the huge advantage at quarterback.
