Martin Stadium and the Washington State Cougars host FCS the Eastern Washington Eagles.
The Eastern Washington Eagles have generally been one of the best teams in the FCS but not in 2015 when they were just 6-5. The Eagles were outscored 40-35 and allowed behind an offense that averaged nearly 480 yards. EWU Gabe Gubrud has some running ability which might be the key if star wide receiver Cooper Kupp draws too much attention of the Cougars defense. The key to the Eagles is if Kupp lights up the WSU ‘D’ up and the defense gets some stops which wasn’t a strength, especially against the pass which the Cougars are great at.

The Washington State Cougars are easy to figure out: throw the ball and score. Mike Leach has the options with quarterback Luke Falk throwing for 4,561 yards and a whopping 38 touchdowns. WSU saw Gabe Marks approach nearly 2,000 yards on 104 receptions followed by River Cracraft who was injured for three games. If Washington State decides to run then Gerald Wicks and Jamal Marrow will be the focus. Of course, the Cougars need to get stops on defense and we’ll see how well this unit performs with six starters back.
The Eagles are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 versus Pac-12 and the over is 4-0-1 in Eagles last 5 versus the Pac-12 and the Eagles are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Cougars are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games and the under is 4-0 in Cougars last 4 home games while the Cougars are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall. If I were to touch this it would probably take the Cougars team total over…
