The Northwestern Wildcats have a chance to beat their third ranked team since last season and get back to a .500 record. The Cornhuskers are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 road games and 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Wildcats are 7-16 ATS in their last 23 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 conference games. The Cornhuskers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Nebraska's win over Oregon was impressive and we backed the Cornhuskers in that game. However, assuming Nebraska will be able to handle that success and avoid a letdown in its first road game is still in question. The Cornhuskers have lost four of their last seven road games and did lose to this Northwestern team at home last season. Northwestern has goals of making a bowl game and is a tough defensive minded team that doesn't give up much of anything easy.
Not my favorite game of the weekend, but I'll take my free touchdown here.
