USA TODAY Sports

The Stanford Cardinal are 2-0 this season after beating USC by a score of 27-10 in week 3. Stanford jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated USC. The Stanford offense is averaging 26.5 points per game with 203.5 rushing yards and 134.5 passing yards per game. Ryan Burns is completing 68.8% of his passes for 258 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception for Stanford. Christian McCaffrey has rushed for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Michael Rector has rushed for 57 yards and 1 touchdown for the Cardinal. Christian McCaffrey has caught 10 passes for 106 yards and 1 touchdown, while Michael Rector has caught 5 passes for 76 yards and 1 touchdown for Stanford. The Stanford defense is giving up 11.5 points per game with 104.5 rushing yards and 239.5 passing yards per game. Zach Hoffpauir has led the Stanford defense with 11 tackles, while Peter Kalambayi has added 10 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. Conrad Ukropina has gone 3-3 on field goals for the Cardinal, with a long of 50 yards.

Stanford is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record. The under is 5-2 in Stanford’s last 7 conference game. UCLA is 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 home games and 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games on grass. The under is 3-0-1 in UCLA’s last 4 conference games. Stanford is 7-1 ATS in these two teams last 8 meetings.

This should be a very entertaining game between two very physical PAC-12 teams. Stanford has looked very sharp on defense, but is still easing their new quarterback into the position. UCLA has looked strong this season, but the key will be stopping McCaffrey. McCaffrey provides a healthy portion of the offense for Stanford and will be the key for both teams. Stanford has had a lot of success ATS in this series in recent meetings, and I like them here.
