The Georgia Bulldogs 3 game winning streak to start the season came to an abrupt halt on Saturday as they were handled by Ole Miss on the road. The Georgia offense is averaging 25.2 points, 196.8 rushing yards, and 216.2 passing yards per game and they have turned the ball over 7 times. UGA QB Jacob Eason has completed 52 percent of his passes with 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Nick Chubb is the Bulldogs top option in the backfield with 422 yards and 3 touchdowns but he left last week’s game and Sony Michel took over while Isiaiah McKenzie is the top receiver with 21 catches and 4 touchdowns and Terry Godwin has 12 catches. Defensively Georgia is allowing 30 points and 383 yards per game with 6 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, and 4 sacks. Natrez Patrick is the Dawgs top tackler with 24, Trenton Thompson has 20 tackles, and Roquan Smith has 17 tackles. Georgia will need to bounce back in a hurry from last week’s disastrous performance where they were simply out of the game in the first few minutes.

The Tennessee Volunteers are off to a 4-0 start to the season and are coming off of their biggest program win in several years beating Florida last week in come from behind fashion. The Tennessee offense is averaging 32.8 points, 186.5 yards rushing, and 201.2 yards passing and they have turned the ball over 6 times. Vols QB Joshua Dobbs has completed 57 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and 5 interceptions and he has rushed for 241 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jalen Hurd is Tennessee’s top rusher with 365 yards and 2 tocuhdowns and Josh Malone is the top receiver with 13 catches and 5 touchdowns and Jauan Jennings and Alvin Kamara have 9 catches each. The Volunteer defense is allowing 21 points and 351.5 yards per game with 2 interceptions, 6 fumble recoveries, and 5 sacks. The Tennessee defense is led by Todd Kelly Jr. and Emmanuel Moseley with 22 tackles each, Cortez McDowell has 21 tackles, and Jalen Reeves-Maybin has 20 tackles despite being injured and missing the better part of a game after being ejected for targeting. This is Tennessee’s first road game and it should be a pretty good barometer to see just how good this team is this season.
