The Ole Miss Rebels welcome the unbeaten Memphis Tigers in week five action.
The Memphis Tigers have been downright dominant in building a 3-0 record. The Tigers defeated Bowling Green 77-3 in week four and the win was expected as a 17.5 point favorite at home but the 74 point margin was shocking. Memphis amassed 635 yards and allowed 294 yards while throwing four interceptions. Tigers quarterback Riley Ferguson was unstoppable as he completed 20-27 for 359 yards and six touchdowns. Anthony Miller and Phil Mayhue were the top receivers for Memphis with three catches apiece for a combined 149 yards and a TD apiece while Doroland Dorceus totaled 117 rushing yards on nine receptions and a touchdown.

The Ole Miss Rebels are 2-2 so far but certainly look like the real deal. The Rebels thoroughly dominated Georgia in every way in a 45-14 rout as a seven point favorite. Mississippi racked up 510 yards while allowing 396 and recording a pick six. Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly was dominant on an 18-24 performance for 282 yards and a pair of touchdowns with Evan Engram leading all receivers with 95 yards on six catches with a nine yard TD while DeMarkus Lodge posted two receptions including a 55 yard scoring strike. Kelly also was the top runner for Ole Miss with 53 yards on four carries and a 41 yard scoring jaunt while Akeem Judd and D’Vaughn Pennamon combined for another 78 yards.

The under is 8-0 in Ole Miss last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and Ole Miss are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record while Ole Miss are 5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The underdog is 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings and the home team is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Memphis has the firepower to hang but I think the Rebels are on a different level if they get going and the points will flow…
