The Maryland Terrapins and Penn State Nittany Lions clash early Saturday afternoon in an intriguing Big Ten matchup at Beaver Stadium.

Perry Hills is completing 61.6 percent of his passes for 550 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. Hills has 13 touchdown passes on his last 253 pass attempts. D.J. Moore and Teldrick Morgan have combined for 399 receiving yards and four touchdowns while DeAndre Lane has eight receptions. USA TODAY Sports

The Penn State Nittany Lions hope to build on their exciting win over Minnesota in which would be their fourth straight home victory. Trace McSorley is completing 58.9 percent of his passes for 1,284 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. McSorley has moved the chains 43 times through the air this season. Chris Godwin and Mike Gesicki have combined for 576 receiving yards and three touchdowns while DeAndre Thompkins has 14 receptions. The Penn State Nittany Lions ground game is averaging 108.2 yards per contest, and Saquon Barkley leads the way with 380 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, Penn State is allowing 31.4 points and 403.8 yards per game. Marcus Allen leads the Nittany Lions with 50 tackles, Shareef Miller has two sacks and Brandon Bell has one interception.

The Terrapins are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. The over is 5-0 in Nittany Lions last 5 games overall and 5-0 in Nittany Lions last 5 conference games.

This line being a pick em is interesting considering Penn State plays very good football in Happy Valley and is only going to be more confident after beating Minnesota last week in overtime. The Nittany Lions also beat Maryland on the road last season. I guess there's a lot of respect for Maryland and its undefeated start, but keep in mind those wins came against Howard, FIU, UCF and Purdue. None of those teams are Penn State, and the Terps did finish 1-4 SU on the road last season.

I'll gladly take Penn State at home in a pick em game.
