The Charlotte 49ers and FAU Owls meet early Sunday afternoon at FAU Football Stadium.

The FAU Owls also need a win in order to snap a brutal four-game losing streak. Eight of the FAU Owls’ last 12 victories have come at home. Jason Driskel is completing 60.1 percent of his passes for 990 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. Driskel has just two touchdown passes in his last four games. Kalib Woods and Tavaris Harrison have combined for 514 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Nate Terry has five receptions. The 49ers are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-8-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Owls are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 home games and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The over is 5-1 in Owls last 6 games overall and the over is 4-1 in 49ers last 5 games overall.
FAU is the much better team than Charlotte, as two of the Owls losses were decided by one score. Road losses to Miami and Kansas State are expected and don't mean much to the overall value of the team. Meanwhile, the Charlotte 49ers just got waxed by Old Dominion and lost to Temple and Eastern Michigan as well. The 49ers have allowed 100 points in just their last two games. I'm not going to lay the points here even if FAU is the better team, as two touchdowns is too steep for me. Instead, I'll side with the over considering it's a common trend between these two teams and they're both near the bottom in yards allowed per game.
Give me the over in what should be a high scoring affair.
