The Buffalo Bulls and the Bowling Green Falcons end their seasons at Doyt L. Perry Stadium Saturday.
The Buffalo Bulls were not supposed to do much in the MAC this year and that is one prediction that has come true. The 2-9 Bulls have lost three in a row following a 38-0 defeat at Western Michigan as a 34.5 point underdog. Nothing went as planned as the Broncos rolled up 626 yards while UB totaled 268 yards which explains the final score. Bulls quarterback Grant Rohach connected on 12-22 for 140 yards with Mason Schreck and Marcus McGill being the top receiving options with a combined nine receptions for 109 yards. Jordan Johnson was Buffalo’s only threat on the ground with 95 yards on 16 carries and UB needed to run more often to milk the clock and keep the Western Michigan offense on the sideline.

Everyone knew the Bowling Green Falcons lost too much talent to be as formidable as in prior seasons and unfortunately this has been reality. The Falcons were their own worse enemy at times as they struggled in one possession games. BGSU have won back to back contests after playing their best game of the year in a one sided 42-7 win versus visiting Kent State. This was over at the coin flip with the Falcons racking up almost 600 yards while the Golden Flashes were held to 254 yards and a mere 19:30 time of possession. Falcons quarterback James Morgan hit on 12-24 for 177 yards with a pair of touchdowns and two interceptions. The rushing attack was dominant behind the trio of Donovan Wilson, Josh Cleveland and Fred Coppet combining for 382 yards and four TD’s on 58 carries.

Bowling Green are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game and Bowling Green are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game while Bowling Green are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games. The under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings and the underdog is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 meetings while the road team is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings.
