The New Mexico State Aggies have not had the season they anticipated and I’m not sure how much longer they will be affiliated with the Sun Belt. The Aggies come off of a 50-10 win versus visiting Texas State as a ten point favorite for their 3rd win which also ended a four game slide. NMSU outgained the Bobcats 483-342 and forced five turnovers and had the ability to run or throw. New Mexico State quarterback Tyler Rogers connected on 20-35 for 186 yards and three touchdowns with two other signal callers throwing for scores. Jaleel Scott was the top receiver with four catches for 73 yards with eleven Aggies recording receptions. Larry Rose III gave NMSU 123 rushing yards while Rogers added 88 yards and a score.
Appalachian State are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in November and Appalachian State are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points while the under is 6-1 in Appalachian State last 7 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game. New Mexico State are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and New Mexico State are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games while the over is 4-0 in Aggies last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
The Mountaineers need this win badly and I’m hoping they play desperate for four quarters…
