The #10 Florida Gators shoot for their second win in the early going versus the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans.
If experience counts for any thing then Arkansas-Little Rock is golden with five of their top six contributors back in the fold. The problem is the experts don't think it will make a difference with the Trojans picked some where in the middle of the Sun Belt. Perhaps that's an accurate prediction after watching the Trojans fall to North Florida by a 72-70 count in a fast paced and entertaining contests. Both teams in the 41-43% range in the shooting department with both hitting their free throws but UALR fell short on the glass 37-23 and coming up one or two plays short. Five players scored in double figures led by Josh Hagins with 14 points while Will Neighbor and Leroy Isler tossing in 12 while Gus Leeper and Mareik Isom combined for 21 points and nine pulls.

Florida is once again ranked and gunning for the SEC crown with a National Championship not out of the question. I need to see more of the Gators who knocked off North Florida before dropping a 59-53 decision to Wisconsin. Nothing to be ashamed of with the way the Badgers can play defense which is what got to UF. Wisky hit at 43% from the floor and Florida countered with 40% but there were a few areas where the Gators lost ground. Wisky hit four more bombs and UF was 10-17 from the charity stripe to leave some points on the floor. Michael Frazier was the big gun for the offense with a game high 20 points on 7-11 shooting including five from distance while Casey Prather tossed in 12 with the duo of Will Yeguete and Patric Young adding eight points each and nine boards.
Arkansas-Little Rock won't even sniff the upset even though they have plenty of experience because the talent level is well below Florida. Perhaps this experience buys them a cover but it's a stretch for sure...
