Clemson has been picture perfect to kick off the year with a 5-0 start that has been sparked by solid play at both ends of the floor. Davidson received a heavy dose of scoring and defense in an 85-54 defeat to the Tigers in the Charleston Classic semifinals. The Wildcats trailed by ten at the half and were never a factor there after with Clemson firing away at over 61% which included a 10-19 effort from long range while Davidson was held to 41.8%. KJ McDaniels led the scoring spree with 22 points on 8-9 from the floor while Damarcus Harrison went for 20 points followed Rod hall with ten more with three others chipping in with seven points apiece. Altogether the Tigers saw eleven players score out of the 13 that received minutes.
This looks like the perfect match up for the title game with both teams playing well. This will probably be a great game to watch with plenty of action especially if UMass wins...
