The Nebraska Cornhuskers face the Georgia Bulldogs in the Charleston Classic.
Nebraska kicked off the season positively with a 3-0 record but their trip to the Charleston Classic hasn't been good with consecutive defeats leaving the Corhuskers in the 7th place game. Defense was optional in 87-74 loss to Alabama-Birmingham in which the Huskers led by three at the break before being out scored 56-40 over the final 20 minutes. The Blazers sank shots at a 53.7% pace to 43% for Nebraska who managed eleven more looks to hang close for a bit but UAB sank 12 more free throws to ice this. Terran Petteway led the offense with 21 points and five yanks followed by Shavon Shields and Deverell Biggs with eleven points each while Walter Pitchford chipped in with ten points and six yanks.

Georgia went from a 5th place game to 7th place when Temple's Will Cummings nailed a three ball with seven ticks remaining to hand the Bulldogs an 83-81 defeat. UGA has dropped three in a row and the thing that sticks out in each is the opposition has scored at least 80 points. The offense hasn't had any issues finding the bottom of the basket but haven't been potent enough to keep pace. The Bulldogs fired away at 50% from the floor with Temple right on their heels at 48% with eight more makes from beyond the arc standing out. The Bulldogs were led in the scoring column by 21 points from Kenny Gaines with Charles Mann netting 19 followed by ten point performances from Marcus Thornton and Nemanja Djurisic.
I don't see a ton of difference here and in my view this one could go either way. I can see this coming down to the last minute so I'll take the points...
