The Baylor Bears and the Syracuse Orange face off on Wednesday Night in the championship game of the Maui Invitational.
The Baylor Bears pulled out a squeaker on Tuesday as they trailed for most of the game against Dayton but managed to come back for a one-point win. The game came down to the final shot but Dayton was unable to convert on their chance. Cory Jefferson is leading Baylor averaging 12.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Brady Heslip is averaging 12.3 points, Kenny Chery is averaging 12 points and 4.7 assists, and Isaiah Austin is averaging 10.2 points and 5.3 rebounds. Baylor is averaging 75.7 points per game and they are shooting 47.1 percent while defensively Baylor allows 66.5 points and their opponents shoot 36.7 percent. Baylor seems to go through lapses during their games, something they likely won’t be able to do in this spot and come away with a win.
