The Missouri Tigers travel to North Carolina State to play the Wolfpack on Saturday.
Missouri dropped to 10-1 on the year after losing to Illinois 65-64 last week. The Tigers shot 44.9% from the field and 47.1% from long distance. Jordan Clarkson had 25 points, 6 rebounds, and a career-high 8 assists for Missouri. On the year, Clarkson leads the team with 19.9 points and 4.3 assists per game. Jabari Brown is averaging 18.2 points per game and Johnathan Williams III is pulling down a team-high 8.1 rebounds per game. The Tigers are a good rebounding team, pulling down just over 40 boards per game and are shooting an impressive 49.3% from the field. Missouri had won their first 10 games including wins over West Virginia and UCLA. This will be a huge test for the Tigers, not only coming off a loss but playing their first true road game of the year.

The NC State Wolfpack improved to 9-2 on the year after beating East Carolina 90-79 last week. The Wolfpack shot an incredible 58.2% from the field and 36.8% from long distance. T.J. Warren scored a career-high 32 points in the win. On the year, Warren leads the team with 23.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Anthony Barber is averaging 12.4 points per game and a team-high 4.3 assists per contest. The Wolfpack are averaging 77 points per game and are shooting an impressive 49.7% from the field. NC State is average at best when it comes to rebounding and distributing the basketball. The Wolfpack have lost to Cincinnati and NCCU early on in the season and have since won seven games in a row. The Wolfpack are 9-0 at home this season.
This will be the Tigers first true road game of the year but I think Missouri will be focused considering their coming off their first loss of the year. NC State had a week off to prepare for the toughest team they have faced all year. The Wolfpack and the Tigers score quickly and look to get out and run. This game should be a shootout and I’m going to take the road team to win outright or lose by a late bucket on Saturday. The over may be a good play as well, depending on what the number comes out at.
