The Siena Saints welcome the Fordham Rams to the Times Union Center for a Monday night match up.
Scoring has been a necessity for Fordham basketball because the opposition does plenty of scoring themselves. That makes for exciting basketball for fans of offense but it didn't help the Rams last time out in a 94-86 loss to Harvard. The Rams fell behind by eleven at the half and even 48% shooting couldn't save them with the Crimson firing away at almost 57% with a 23-13 edge at the line sealing the deal. Branden Frazier exploded for a game high 31 points with seven assists with Jon Severe right on his heels with 29 points and six yanks with Mandall Thomas the next closest with eight points.

Putting points on the board seems to be the best chance Siena has at winning as their defense has struggled and their record says as much. Both ends of the floor came together nicely for one of the few times in the early going with 67-59 decision over Hofstra. Even though the Saints didn't set the world on 44% it was enough to win with the Pride held to only 35% combining with five more makes at the line. Maurice White, Lavon Long and Rob Poole each scored 14 points and combined for 18 rebounds while Brent Bisping and Marquis Wright tossed in another 18 points with seven players in an eight man rotation finding the scoring column.
If somebody has an edge that could be exploited in this match up I'm all ears. That means there are better spots out there and whatever happens would be zero surprise...
