The Rhode Island Rams have lost four of their last five games as they are struggling with conference play still on the horizon. URI has played the 294th ranked schedule and they are 0-4 away from home thus far this year. Xavier Munford is averaging 15 points per game and he is the Rams leading scorer. E.C. Mathews is averaging 10.7 points and 4.0 rebounds, Gilvydas Biruta is averaging 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds, and Jarelle Reischel is averaging 6.7 points per game. Rhode Island is averaging 67.5 points and they are shooting 42.9 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.2 points and their opponents are shooting 44.6 percent. This looks like it will be a tough year for URI.
Brown is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games, 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 home games, and 6-2 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread. Rhode Island is 2-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record and 1-5 against the spread following a double-digit home loss.
This one should be close late and it looks to be a two-point game either way.
