The Utah Utes and the Oregon Ducks face off on Thursday as they open their Pac-12 college basketball schedules.
The Utah Utes are quietly off to an 11-1 start to the season but it has come against soft competition. Utah has played the 348th ranked schedule thus far and they have played just one road game all season. Jordan Loveridge leads the Utes averaging 17.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Delon Wright is averaging 14.9 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.9 assists, Brandon Taylor is averaging 11 points and 4.1 rebounds, and Renan Lenz is averaging 8.2 points. Utahis averaging 87.4 points per game and they are shooting 54.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 59.8 points and their opponents shoot 37 percent. We will find out in a hurry if Utah is for real or if their record is over blown due to light scheduling.
