The Indiana Hoosiers and the Michigan State Spartans face off on Saturday in Bloomington in Big Ten college basketball action.
The Indiana Hoosiers opened their Big 10 schedule on Tuesday with a loss at Illinois that continues their struggles on the road this season. IU is 9-0 at home this season but they are 0-2 against ranked teams which doesn’t bode well for the tough schedule they have ahead. Kevin Yogi Ferrell is the Hoosiers leading scorer averaging 17.7 points and 4.1 assists per game. Noah Vonleh is averaging 12.3 points and 9.5 rebounds, Will Sheehy is averaging 10.7 points and 4.1 rebounds, and Jeremy Hollowell is averaging 8.0 points and 4.4 rebounds. As a team Indiana is averaging 82 points and they are shooting 46.8 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 67.9 points and their opponents are shooting 38.4 percent. Indiana will find out a lot about themselves and we will find out a lot about them as well in this contest.

Michigan State still does it the same way they always have under Tom Izzo and that is with strong rebounding.
