The Wyoming Cowboys look to be a team on the fringe as they seem to be able to compete against just about anyone but can’t get over the hump to get a win over the best teams. Wyoming is 0-3 on the road this season and all of their losses have come to teams with a RPI better than 100 including two ranked teams. Larry nance Jr. leads eh Cowboys averaging 16.3 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Riley Grabeau is averaging 11.4 points, Josh Adams is averaging 11.1 points, and Nathan Sobey is averaging 6.9 points. Wyoming is averaging 68.8 points and they are shooting 49.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 61.6 points and their opponents are shooting 39 percent. Wyoming will have some chances to get some big win as the MWC looks to be tough once again this season.
Nevada is 2-5 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, 1-8 against the spread in their last nine home games, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games against a team with a losing road record. Wyoming is 7-2-1 against the spread in their last 10 games, 3-8-1 against the spread in their last 12 road games, and 3-11 against the spread in their last 14 games against the Mountain West.
We are getting points with the better team which to me is always a good thing, I am on Wyoming here.
