The Yale Bulldogs visit Chaifetz Arena to take the hardwood with the St Louis Billikens.
Yale might only be 5-6 but they have been generally competitive although the schedule hasn't been real difficult. The Bulldogs score and allow around 70 points with the offense failing to come through in a 70-62 defeat at Albany although it was fairly close with the Great Danes sinking almost half their looks and Yale connecting at only 31.6%. Yale sank six more free throws but their popor shooting sealed their fate especially with one DD scorer. Javier Duren led the game with 26 points on 8-15 from the floor with Justin Sears and Nick Victor combining for 15 points.

If Saint Louis continues to rack up the wins they could be sniffing the top 25 with generally strong performances thus far. The scoring and defense have been on the same page which has led to six wins in a row although it was the D that came up big in a 57-49 decision at Vanderbilt. The Billikens erased a six point deficit with a big second half on both ends of the floor but overall their 40% from the field was better then the Commodores 34% with a few more baskets and free throws getting the job done. Jordair Jettled both teams with 17 points and eight helpers on 6-8 shooting with Mike McCall Jr and Dwayne Evans tossing in nine points each with Evans grabbing nine boards.
Yale isn't bad despite their record and RPI with several close games. Having said that the number seems about right so the value is questionable...
