Southern Cal is 1-2 on the road this season and they have played the 117th ranked schedule. Byron Wesley is averaging 17 points and 7.2 rebounds to lead the Trojans. Pe’Shon Howard is averaging 11 points, Nikola Jovanovic is averaging 10 points and 5.6 rebounds, and Omar Oraby is averaging 9.5 points and 7.2 rebounds. USC is averaging 75 points and they are shooting 46 percent while defensively they are allowing 70.5 points while defensively they are allowing 70.5 points and their opponents are shooting 40.2 percent from the floor. USC’s schedule gets tougher as the season goes on.
UCLA is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games, 7-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, and 2-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record. USC is 4-0-1 against the spread in their last five games, 3-1-1 against the spread following a win, and 2-6-1 against the spread in their last nine road games. The favorite has covered the point spread in five of the last seven meetings of these two.
