The Maryland Terrapins take to the road to face the Pittsburgh Panthers at the Petersen Events Center.
I'm interested in seeing how Maryland fits in the new look ACC with their 2-0 conference mark only telling me they have beaten Boston College and Georgia Tech. The Terps have won three in a row following a 77-61 victory over the visiting Yellow Jackets behind nearly 47% shooting including a 10-19 mark from long range. That was enough to win with GT struggling to 38% from the field and never recovering from an early 14 point hole. Nick Faust headed the offense with 16 points followed by a 14 point, five pull night by Eric Smotrycz while Dezmine Wells and Seth Allen combined for 21 points.

The way Pittsburgh has been playing they are an obvious top 25 squad that will make some noise in the ACC. Pitt sank shots at a 48% clip while limiting the Wolpack to 39% while forcing 16 turnovers. Lamar Patterson paced the scoring with ww points, eight boards and six helpers with Talib Zanna netting 15 points and snaring nine pulls while Michael Young and Cameron Wright added 13 and nine points.
As I said I'm still trying to figure out Maryland and my initial thoughts were to grab the points. However if Pittsburgh plays a full 40 minutes I'm thinking they have more potential to cover...
