The Richmond Spiders take to the road to meet the St Bonaventure Bonnies at the Reilly Center.
Richmond definitely looks like a challenger in the A-10 which seems like a very tough conference. The Spiders don't have an explosive offense but haven't needed one with a top 40 defense. Unfortunately neither end of the floor was strong enough in a 67-58 loss at Florida as a 14 point dog. The shooting was close with the Gators leading 46%-44% but UF owned the boards 41-18 with a decisive 10-1 edge at the stripe. Cedrick Lindsay led all scorers with 19 points with Kendall Anthony tossing in 15 while seven of the eight man rotation scored.

St Bonaventure has been led by their scoring with an adequate defense as they too appear capable of doing some damage in the A-10. Both units were picture perfect in an 81-57 rout of struggling Cornell for win number three in a row. The Bonnies were up ten at the half as they sank half their looks including 10-22 from beyond the arc. With the Big Red held to 42% the Bonnies sank eight more field goals which was obviously the difference. The St Bonaventure offense received a game high 20 points from Jordan Gathers with a 16 point, six pull and six assist effort from Matthew Wright followed by Dion Wright and Charlon Kloof netting 14 and 12 points respectively.
Both teams look like challengers in the A-10 in what looks like a complete coin flip. Richmond probably has more name recognition but I'll give the home team a look...
