The Temple Owls search for a conference win when the South Florida Bulls visit the Liacouras Center.
South Florida has been struggling as of late after a very solid start. The Bulls have dropped four of five behind an offense that has had some problems filling the basket in this stretch. The Bulls fell to conference rival Houston 67-58 with the Cougars taking an eight point lead in to the locker room and holding serve the rest of the way. USF connected at 37% from the floor and were 5-21 from long range with a 13-25 mark at the stripe while giving the ball away 16 times. Martino Brock led the offense with eleven points with Chris Perry adding eleven points and six pulls while Victor Rudd and John Egbunu netted nine points each and combined for 14 boards.

It's been awhile since we've seen Temple with a losing record after 12 games but an above average offense has not been able to over come defficiencies at the defensive end where the Owls are allowing 75 points. Temple has fallen in four of five after dropping a 78-76 decision at Central Florida where the Knights sank nearly half their looks with the visitors staying close on 46% marksmanship. Will Cummings nearly carried the team to victory as he exploded for 31 points on 9-14 from the field with Quenton DeCosey and Anthony Lee adding 14 and 12 points with the latter grabbing five boards. The Owls didn't go much further then a five man rotation with limited production other wise.
This might be a game where Temple just destroys somebody and if they get an early lead I think South Florida is done. Of course that is assuming the Owls get that effort and that's guessing so I'll take the points and hope Temple at least wins which shouldn't be a problem...
