The Wyoming Cowboys go on the road to take the floor with the Boise State Broncos.
After half the season has passed us by I think it's safe to say that Wyoming will go as far as their defense and Larry Nance takes them. The past few weeks that hasn't been far enough with losses in four of six after a 72-69 overtime defeat to visiting New Mexico. Even though the Cowboys hit shots at a 49% clip the Lobos 43% mark was just enough with 13 more looks to their credit. Rilet Grabau paced the scoring with 24 points and six pulls with Nathan Sobey tossing in 16 points while Josh Adams and Larry Nance Jr. netted 12 and nine points.

Boise State and their high powered offense has been the key to their success as they are armed to score with anybody. Unfortunately the nation's second ranked defense in San Diego State was able to control the scoreboard on the way to a 69-66 decision. Both teams connected at around 44% from the field with the Broncos going just 4-17 from long range while the Aztecs used a 21-14 edge at the stripe to prevail. Derrick Marks netted a game high 21 points on 7-17 from the field while Anthony Drmic tossed in 17 points along with grabbing ten rebounds followed by the duo of Ryan Watkins and Mikey Thompson who combined for 17 points with Watkins hauling in another ten boards.
For Boise State this is similar to their bout with San Dego State where Wyoming will try to contain the damage on the scoreboard. I am hoping they do but this time the Broncos win at least...
