The Minnesota Golden Gophers lost their Big Ten opener to Michigan but since then they have won their last two games. Minnesota is 0-1 against teams ranked in the top 25 and 3-0 on the road this season. Andre Hollins is averaging 15.8 points to lead the Golden Gophers. Austin Hollins is averaging 12.4 points and 6.8 rebounds, Deandre Mathieu is averaging 11.6 points, and Malik Smith is averaging 9.7 points. Minnesota is averaging 76 points and they are shooting 43.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 65.8 points and their opponents shoot 41.6 percent. This game starts a brutal stretch for Minnesota as they play four games in a row against ranked teams.
Michigan State is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games, 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six Saturday games, and 5-1 against the spread following a win. Minnesota is 1-3-1 against the spread following a win, 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six games overall, and 1-5 against the spread against the Big Ten.
The Spartans are rolling but this number is just way too big so I am on the Gophers getting double digits.
