The Oregon Ducks and the Stanford Cardinal face off on Sunday in Pac-12 college basketball action.
The Oregon Ducks were cruising right along but now they have lost their last two games including a 13-point home loss to Cal last time out. Oregon is 9-1 at home this season but they are 1-2 in the Pac-12 and appear to be reeling. Joseph Young is averaging 19.7 points per game to lead the Ducks in scoring. Mike Moser is averaging 14 points and 7.8 rebounds, Damyean Dotson is averaging 11.5 points, and Jason Calliste is averaging 10.7 points. Oregon is averaging 88.9 points and they are shooting 49 percent while defensively they are allowing 77.4 points and their opponents are shooting 43.3 percent. Oregon is loaded with talent and if they can stop the bleeding they should be in the mix when March madness rolls around.

The Stanford Cardinal have been tough to figure out but regardless they have lost three of their last four games. Stanford is 0-2 in the Pac-12 and 2-1 on the road this season. Chasson Randle leads the Cardinal averaging 19.2 points per game. Dwight Powell is averaging 14.3 points and 7.6 rebounds, Anthony Brown is averaging 13 points and 5.5 rebounds, and Josh Huestis is averaging 11.1 points and 8.1 rebounds. Stanford is averaging 76.3 points and they are shooting 48 percent while defensively they are allowing 69.8 points and their opponents are shooting 40.3 percent. Stanford has just one win over a team with a RPI better than 150.
Oregon is 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five home games, 1-7 against the spread following a loss, and 0-4-1 against the spread in their last five games. Stanford is 9-4 against the spread following a loss, 2-5 against the spread against the Pac-12, and 2-8-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The home team has covered the point spread in nine of the last 13 meetings of these two.
Both of these teams have been struggling of late but look for Oregon to bounce back in this spot.
