The Lawlor Event Center will be rocking when the Boise State Broncos visit the Nevada Wolf Pack.
Boise State is simply an awesome offensive club but have struggled the past few weeks to score and when the points don't flow neither do the wins. In consecutive defeats the Broncos have scored only 116 points following a 52-50 loss to visiting Wyoming. Boise was limited to 32% from the floor and stayed competitive thanks to eleven more attempts. Anthony Drmic tossed in a contest best 20 points with seven boards on 6-16 shooting while Ryan Watkins netted 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Nevada has put up some interesting numbers as of late with four consecutive victories thanks to above average play at the defensive end. Defense and Nevada aren't normally associated with one another but in three of the wins no more then 58 points have been allowed. The Wolf Pack knocked off Utah State 62-54 by holding the Aggies to 31% which made their own 41% marksmanship look golden. Cole Huff led a trio of double digit scorers with 16 points and six pulls with Deonte Burton netting 14 points and posting five helpers followed an eleven point, seven board effort from AJ West.
I wonder if Nevada's defense is for real or temprary. If they continue to shut opponents down I would take them here but I have trouble believing this trend continues but for a pick...
