The Southern Illinois Salukis go on the road to tangle with the Bradley Braves at Carver Arena.
Southern Illinois hasn't been tearing it up thus far and that is going to happen when your opponents are scoring more then you. The Salukis did come up with their best performance of the season in downing Northern Iowa 68-66 as they came back from an eleven point deficit at the half behind 46% from the floor. The big difference came at the line where SIU sank six more attempts. Desmar Jackson led a trio of DD scorers with 19 points and eleven rebounds followed by Sean O'Brien and Anthony Beane Jr. with 15 and 14 points with ten pulls between them.

Bradley has to turn things around quickly if they are to be a factor in the Missouri Valley or they will be in a struggle to stay out of the conference basement. If they turn things around it will mean the offense has begun to score consistently because 64 points makes life very difficult to win. It was made even more difficult by MVC power Wichita State 72-50 where the offense mustered only 35% from the field. The Shockers were held to 39% but owned a 23-8 advantage at the foul line to win going away. Walt Lemon Jr. paced the scoring with 12 points with Tyshon Pickett posted eleven points and eight rebounds while Omari Grier chipped in with ten points.
