The Saint Joseph's Hawks take the floor with the Penn Quakers at The Palestra on Saturday.
If there is such a thing as a poor win then Saint Joseph's might be up for the award after upending visiting Duquesne 84-75. The Hawks built a monsterous 32 point lead after 20 minutes before letting up on the gas and substitutions enabled the visitors to make the score respectable. St Joes connected at a red hot 64.5% but did give the ball away 22 times to give the 38.6% shooting Dukes 22 more looks to aid in the late rally. The Hawks received a game high 26 points from Langston Galloway with Chris Wilson adding 16 points and eight assists with eight players scoring overall.

I always say the Ivy League is hard to predict because the numbers don't mean much when these teams face one another. The proof was in the pudding for Penn who knocked off Princeton 77-74 that snapped a seven game slide and gave the Quakers their third win. This team has struggled defensively with 77 points allowed but received just enough from this unit with the Tigers held to 43% while Penn countered with 49% which overcame 18 turnovers. Tony Hicks was top scorer for the Quakers with 18 points and five yanks with the duo of Darien Nelson-Henry and Fran Dougherty netting 17 points and combining for 20 rebounds.
I think the numbers point to Saint Joseph's but I thought the same thing about Princeton and Penn took them down so I caution about over confidence...
