The Line: Illinois-Chicago Flames +11 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
It has the potential to get real ugly when the 14-3 Green Bay Phoenix take their show on the road against the 5-13 Illinois-Chicago Flames. We’re talking about the best team in the Horizon League taking on one of the worst teams in all of college basketball.
It’s pretty safe to assume which side I’m leaning.

The Phoenix do just about everything well. They shoot a high percentage (48.6), rebound effectively (38.1) and play solid defense by holding teams to less than 70 points per game. Green Bay has won nine straight games and is 9-4 against the spread this season.
Illinois-Chicago has been dreadful to say the least. It can’t score (68.9 points), struggles to rebound (33.7) and can’t stop the other team from scoring considering opponents are shooting 47.7 percent. That’s a recipe for a disaster, which is exactly what the Flames season has been.
If you’re looking for positives, the Flames do shoot 71 percent from the charity stripe and only turn the ball over 12 times per game. Still, you’d be a fool to put your money on a team that can really stink it up.
Illinois-Chicago is only 1-5 against the spread at home, while Green Bay is 6-0 against the spread in its last six games. I usually don’t like laying a big number, especially when the team is on the road, but this is a clear mismatch on both ends of the floor.
