The Line: Oregon State Beavers +2 -- Over/Under: 161 See the Latest Odds
The Oregon State Beavers and the Oregon Ducks face off on Sunday in Corvallis in a Pac-12 college basketball rivalry game.
The Oregon State Beavers have lost three of their last four games and are struggling in Pac-12 play. OSU is 7-2 at home this season and they have played the 113th ranked schedule in the country. Roberto Nelson is averaging 21.3 points to lead the Beavers. Devon Collier is averaging 14.7 points and 7.1 rebounds, Angus Brandt is averaging 12.3 points, and Hallice Cooke is averaging 6.5 points. Oregon State is averaging 77.8 points and they are shooting 49.7 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 74.5 points and their opponents are shooting 43.6 percent. Oregon State has struggled defensively and that has been their undoing as offensively they are as strong as anyone.

The Oregon Ducks were cruising right along and appeared to be headed to the top 10 in the rankings but the Ducks have lost three games in a row. Oregon is 4-1 away from home this season and they have played the 25th ranked schedule in the country. Joseph Young is averaging 18.8 points per game to lead the Ducks. Mike Moser is averaging 14.6 points and 7.7 rebounds, Damayean Dotson is averaging 11.4 points, and Jason Calliste is averaging 10.8 points. Oregon is averaging 88.4 points and they are shooting 49.1 percent while defensively they are allowing 77.7 points and their opponents are shooting 43.8 percent. Oregon is looking to regroup before this season starts to get away from them.
Oregon State is 5-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, 5-2-2 against the spread in their last nine home games, and 2-5 against the spread against a team with a winning record. Oregon is 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight road games, 0-4 against the spread following a loss, and 0-5-1 against the spread in their last six games. Oregon has covered the point spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
The total here looks obcenely high but I still see it going over the number and the over is my free pick. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that pick in the Premium Area as well as the App.
