The Line: Wright State Raiders -6 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
It should be a decent ball game when Wisc-Milwaukee and Wright State go at it Tuesday night. The Panthers are 13-7 and winners in four of their last seven, while the Raiders continue to play great basketball winning seven of their last nine.
Both of these teams are fairly even offensively. In fact, it’s almost scary. They both shoot 43 percent from the field, a low 30 percent from three and 74 percent from the charity stripe. The Panthers average of 71.8 points per game is more than the Raiders, but Wright State holds teams to only 63.3 points per game, which should help even things out a bit.

Wright State is going to have to rely heavily on its defense if it hopes to win this game. Milwaukee has several different players who can score a lot, while Wright State simply doesn’t have that type of firepower, especially with JT Yoho’s minutes seriously limited as of late. Neither team rebounds all that well and they both struggle from three, so this game will likely be decided in the turnover department. Well, both squads are averaging 13 of those per game. Good luck finding an edge.
In a game that’s expected to be close, I’m taking the team that’s getting the points. Milwaukee is 11-7 against the spread this season and 8-4 against the spread on the road. Meanwhile, Wright State is 2-4 against the spread at home and 4-11 against the spread overall.
It could go either way, but the Panthers seem like the much safer pick at this point.
